About Me	After high school I joined the USMC. In 1962 I married to Arla Merfeld. We are still together, we have 3 children and 4 grandkids. I was an Anaheim police officer until 1970. We moved to Redding, Ca. where I was a police officer for the Redding, PD. until 1975. I joined the Redding fire dept in August of 1975.
