Carmillia Mary graduated from Anacostia High School, in Anacostia, Washington, DC, IN 1970. attended Spelman College, in Atlanta, GA, from 1970 to 1971; and transferred to Bakersfield Community College, in Bakersfield, CA, from 1971 to 1972. Carmillia Mary joined the Potomac Electric Power Company, Washington, D.C. in 1972, in the Customer Service Department, as a Service Representative. Carmillia Mary had one daughter, Stephanie Nichole, in 1974, with Anthony Governor Dunn, a Howard University Civil Engineer, at the Potomac Electric Power Company; and another daughter and son.
