Gangsters of Virtue/ The Wise Sorrowful Hearts is a true cuationary tale for the youth of this nation and the world.This is the uold story of murder, greed, lust for power, family, education, morals, dignity and honoring the old times. Anna Mae Jackson raised eight extraordinary children in Anacostia under the shadow of the DEA, FBi, the DC Black Mafia, the Italian Genovese Crime Family and the Saint John Baptist Church of Marshall Heights in SE/DC. The story told by the youngest boy.Lawrence W. Jackson was incarcerated for 34 years while his family endured hardships, trials and triumphs throughout his long incarnation. All of them graduate from Anacostia SHS.
