It is just to give you a heads up as to the procedures we need to follow in order to be able to stay aboard the ferry when it docks in Friday Harbor. "I’ve re-verified all the details with the Port Captain. If you can have all attendees sign in (print names clearly) on a NUMBERED list, and submit that to a vessel crew member shortly after departure from Anacortes, that would be great. Having it numbered will help the crew quickly know how many are staying aboard in Friday Harbor to ensure the USCG required passenger count numbers departing Friday Harbor are accurate.
Other than that, just make sure folks carry photo ID with them and have the reunion group sit all together in one location during the security sweep at Friday Harbor (i.e. no wandering off to the restrooms, galley, etc.)"

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!
Dinner reservations will have to close by Friday, September 1, 2017 so that we can meet the caterers requirement of a final head count no later than 7 days prior to the event. We will not be able to accept dinner purchases at the door because our number of dinners will have already been finalized. There will be dinner tickets given upon arrival with your gift bag which will need to be presented at the food line. Thanks for your understanding.
Also, our event will have a no-host bar. The Elks Club will be handling the bar tending and they can ONLY ACCEPT CASH, no checks, credit or debit cards so please plan accordingly.
Drink Costs :
Wine/Well Drinks $5
Beer $4
Pop $1

FERRY CRUISE UPDATE Washington State ferry cruise from Anacortes to Friday Harbor and back on Friday, September 8, 2017 will leave Anacortes at 4:45pm and return at 7:35pm. The WSF has given our group permission to stay on the ferry in Friday Harbor as long as we provide them with a list of group members and everyone has ID. Walk-on tickets for Seniors (+65) can be purchased inside the terminal for $6.60.
This is a no-host event but you can buy food and drinks onboard or you can bring your own. Alcohol may not be brought onto the ferry but can be purchased and consumed in the galley.
It is likely that this sailing will be quite busy, especially if the weather is nice, so car pooling and early arrival is encouraged. Be aware that parking is $10 at all of the ferry terminal lots.
