| About Me | Worked for Pima Community Colleg as an Interpreter for the Deaf. I went to allot of Si Fi Conventions where I got the opportunity to use my Sign language skills. I was at the place inHollywood to see Dean Stockwell get a star on the walk of fame. Afterwards there was a luncheon where Dean Stockwell spoke. I was informed that there were a couple of people who were deaf so I had the honor of interpreting for Dean Stockwell right next to him on the stage. It was something I will never forget. I got lost in the hotel and found myself at Valet Parking. Normally that would not be much to talk about but this time it was different. There was Dennis Hopper waiting for his car. They had this program for the Luncheon and I asked him if he would sign it. I did not know it at the time but he usually does not give autographs. But I guess becauseit was him and I alone with the Valet parking staff he felt differently so he gave me one. I have long since lost that program but the experience will be another one I will not forget . I know that moment will be completely forgettable for him. But for me I feel we made a connection between two human beings. . I was a wonderful day. I have had a number of experiences that are similar,experiences with celebreties I got to meet. If I told the rest of them it would go on and on in too many to put in the spot. Like everyone else here my life has been filled with good experiences and bad ones. I believe even bad experiences are ones that Goddess puts in our path so we can learn something. I have found that learning is about the most exciting experiences a human being can experience, that and being able to help someone. I find if am lucky enough to find ways to help someone it just makes the day better.You don't have to be rich to do it either, there are oppotunities everywhere if you pray for it and are willing to keep your mind and heart willing look around and found my teacher sending a joint around for people to smoke. AT the time I did not smoke cigarettes let alone pot. Now I am waiting for medicinal marijuana to start. My doctor has already given me a certificate saying she wants me to get the a card so I can go to places to have Marijuana when the pharmacy for marijana are open. I don't believe it ...(read more) |
