Jim’s like was dedicated to working to help cranes and the Peregrine Falcon. One of his publications was “The Peregrine Falcon in Greenland:Observing an Endangered Species.” The liner notes compared Jim with such author-adventurers as Peter Matthiessen and Edward Abbey- men who not only profess to love nature but actually live in it and, as a result, respect it.
