About Me	Married for 36 years but recently divorced. After college I lived and taught at Merrell Barracks in Nurnberg,Germany for four years...great travel! I then came home,put hub thru college, had a son (now 29) and opened a retail optical shop (20 years) with hub. Became deathly ill and almost died from advanced Crohn's Disease and was told I would not likely live to 40 (guess I showed them, huh?); had a very successful ten-year run in optical sales for the Japanese; made great money and travelled to Asia, but health was bad, so came off "the road" in '95 to open a second retail operation (interior design shop) and teach part-time at a local college. We closed both shops and separated in '04 and I switched to teaching Spanish at Amherst County High School (my alma mater). It's a real hoot being back there...and I'm teaching with about ten members of my high school class! I have had a busy, happy life, and if it was to end tomorrow I couldn't complain! I love bread but can't eat it (my Crohn's Disease hates wheat flour..); Love animals but wish they could live longer; not a fan of winter; I love travel and exploration;go ot Mexico every chance I get; kinda groovin' on getting older (not nearly as bad as I feared...) ; wish my son lived cl...(read more)
