About Me	ISU undergraduate degree 1970, married to Betsy Bath, class of 1967, in 1968; three children, divorced in 1990. Graduate degrees, University of Iowa, MBA/JD, 1993. Teacher Certification from ISU 1994; student teacher, American International School of Budapest, social studies teacher at North Jakarta International School. Married Restu Ermawati (Emma) in 1996, the principal’s secretary at NJIS. Returned to Ames in 1997. Worked as a teacher and principal briefly while my wife completed an ISU degree in Hotel & Restaurants Mgr. Built five apartment buildings in Ames during the early 2000’s. Emma gave birth to a son in 2005; we returned to Jakarta in 2007 so our son could spend his elementary school year surrounded by Indonesian culture and language. We returned to Iowa in 2014, specifically Pella, because of the excellent schools, entrepreneurial spirit and safe, welcoming atmosphere. Our son is now a sophomore at ISU; doing well. Consequently we are preparing to sell the Pella house and return to our house in Pasar Rebo, Jakart...(read more)
