Gold ring with a Yellowjacket inside stone initials I the inside PJW it was a bi centennial ring!

My sister found a ring back in 1983-84?. It is a class ring for 1982. on the inside is engraved "Somla Chiyu" I have looked and looked and the closest to any resemblance is "Sonja Chitter' (Matthews). If anybody can shed some light on this please email me at ivoman13@hotmail.com. I would like to get this ring to its rightful owner as it has been stored for 30 yrs. Thank you.
