Wayne Lethgo is a friend from the class of 1946

Wayne is retired from a career in the military.

Wayne's wife reports the following

On December the 15th Wayne stepped off of a curb and fell face down on the concrete. The fall resulted in a total loss of vision. He has no sight, he cannot detect light from dark and lives in a world of total blindess. Two operations by one of Augusta's (Georgia) leading Retina Specialist have been unsuccessful. The Dr. says the only hope is somewhere down the road. Remember Wayne in your prayers.

Obituary

Robert "Bob" Keener '59 passed away this morning. Bob's wife Linda called me of the news from their home in Brooks, GA. Services will be Tuesday 11/23/10 in GA.

There will be a dance from 8 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Altus

High School Cafeteria immediately after the AHS Alumni Reunion Banquet. All

AHS alumni are invited, and anyone else who likes dancing and/or listening to music

of the 1950s and early 1960s or just likes to visit and have fun is welcome, too. The

entry fee including soft drinks is five dollars per person, but anyone who helps put

the banquet tables in the hall, put the chairs around the walls, or clean up after the

banquet will get in for free! See you there!
