Frank Vozak graduated in 1974 with a BSSW and 1975 MSW from Saint Louis University. He served Reserve Army duty '74-75 and '77-94 and active duty '75-77 retiring from the Army Reserve as a MAJOR in 1994. He worked at Hines VA Hospital as a social worker for 44 years retiring in 2018 and worked 25 years part time at Loyola University Hospital as an ER social worker retiring in 2015. During his social work career he worked inpatient and outpatient med-surg, AIDS/HIVcare, inpatient psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse Renal, Geriatrics, ER , Methadone Maintenance and combat trauma. He has been married for 40 yrs to Terrie Rymer and they have owned a home in Oak Park, IL for 39 years, He has been subspecialty certified in Substance Abuse and Transgender Care and us both licensed and nationally certified in Clinical Social Work. After retirement he has maintained a private social work practice specializing in AIDS, combat trauma and geriatrics. He was involved in village government in Oak Park as a commission member with Solid Waste, Traffic, Community Relations, and health. He served a chairman for the Oak Park Board of Health. He has served as a Boy Scouts adult leader, the President of the Oak Park Model Railroad Club, a bass guitar player with the Oak Farmers Market Band, and as a congregant at West Suburban Temple Har Zion for 30 years serving 4 terms as a Board Member. He practices Conservative Judaism. He may not have lettered in high school but earned a Saint Louis University athletic letter as a member of the Athletic Dept's Pep Band.
