Brenda Kay Manning, 57, of Hillman passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena.
Brenda Kay McGirr was born on June 5, 1959, in Alpena to Orville and Edith (Sumerix) McGirr. On Aug. 25, 1979, she married Charles Manning. Brenda was a member of Hillman United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Chuck; two children, Kari (Paul) Klein, Brad Manning; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Aubrie; mother, Edith; three sisters, Sandra (Bill) Diemond, Lisa McGirr, Amy (Steve) Worm; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her father, Orville McGirr.
Mrs. Manning is at the Bannan Funeral Home – Alpena where visitation will take place on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lisa Kelley officiating.
Interment: Spratt Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Brenda through the Community Foundation of Northeast Michigan for the Hillman United Methodist Church Fund
