AKRON -- Paul J. Turner, 56, died Sunday evening, Dec. 14, 2014, at Summa Healthcare Center following a lengthy illness.
Paul was born Aug. 20, 1958, in Alliance to Janice K. (Pennybaker) Sponseller and the late Paul A. Turner.
He worked as a journeyman printer at Salem Label for many years and later in his life he ran the kitchen at the Last Quarter in Akron.
He was a 1976 graduate of Alliance High School. He loved his canine companion, Diesel, the Cleveland Browns and cooking.
Survivors include his mother of Alliance; sisters, Linda Ludwig of Salem and Patricia Betz of Alliance; a brother, Mark Turner of Alliance; and seven nieces and nephews.
There is no service planned. Burial will in Alliance City Cemetery.
