| About Me | Worked as a secretary to put myself through college. That job grew into a project manager position at UConn that changed my life, let me travel all over the world, presenting research, and publishing journal articles before finishing my BA. I then followed up by dramatically dropping out of a Ph.D in psychology to (gasp) return home to get married. And have babies. And live in the suburbs. My growing up over the next decade resulted in a metamorphosis via divorce. Now I live with two kids, a dog, and three cats in a funky old brick house and love it. I work as an education advocate, where I get to negotiate on behalf of kids with disabilities every day (I have never had a job where I receive more brownies and more hugs. Perfect. Of course, that would be from parents, not administrators.).
