Northborough - Leroy H. Smith, Jr., age 56, died Monday, May 5, 2014, in Maine. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Leroy H. and Bertha A. (Tucy) Smith, Sr. Mr. Smith is survived by a son, Leroy H. Smith, III of South Gardiner; two brothers, three sisters, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers. Mr. Smith was brought up in the town of Northborough and graduated from Algonquin RHS. He was employed by Breathable Homes in Augusta, ME, and was best known as "the guy who could fix anything." Leroy's family and friends will miss his infectious laugh and smile. He was always there to lend a helping hand, an ear to listen and a hug when needed.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday May 17, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Howard St. Cemetery, Northborough. (PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CEMETERY.) There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
