| About Me | I'm left-handed. I'm severely allergic to Kiwi fruit. I don't like anyone touching my face. I keep bees. I'm certified to dive in sewage and various other nasty things...but I don't! My oldest daughter is growing up way too fast. I was in the Navy for about six years where I got to shoot missiles and repair their guidance systems...on the U.S.S. Bataan, then two as an inactive reservist. I then worked offshore for almost two years, and eventually went back to sculpture...and finished school (well, not finished, I think I'm going to return and get an MBA). I used to have a lot of fun showing kids and adults how to create cool stuff at a sculpture studio. I dove for an environmental company and I enjoy being outdoors, the water is my office. So now I'm working for LSU's Coastal Studies Institute...diving, electronics, and a lot of ingenuity.....I also have a knack of being able to fix almost anything. I guess taking apart everything that my parents owned finally paid off. I have two black cats, Celeste and Scarlet...one was found in a pillowcase and the other was about to be euthanized because someone said "black cats are only good for Satanic purposes."
