| About Me | After high school in Kenner, I moved to Lafayette for six years and graduated from UL in '97. I moved back to Kenner for two years, then moved to Atlanta and lived there for six years. I moved to Daphne, Alabama in '05 and was transferred to Medina, Ohio in May of '07. I've been freezing my butt off ever since. I got married in 2001 to Jamie Dubuc. We went to kindergarten together, though I unfortunately do not remember her. She, on the other hand, recalls that I was the kid with a large head. 20+ years later I ran into her as she sold me my first cell phone. She claims that she wouldn't have accepted my offer for a date if I didn't pass the credit check for my phone. I remain skeptical as I can be quite charming when I'm not juggling one neurosis or another. In 2004 we had our first child, Grace Olivia. Jamie had the joy of being in labor for about 32 hours; it started at 5am on Super Bowl Sunday and didn't end until 12:37 in the afternoon of the next day. I'm still miffed at her as her grumbling about labor pains caused me to miss Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction. In 2007, our second child, Sophia Joan (we call her SoJo) came with considerably less fanfare as the labor lasted "only" 16 hours. I've tried to tell Jamie that, assuming the pattern holds, by the time we get to an eighth child she could have the kid out in 15 minutes.
