| About Me | I was born on June 30th 1960. The sixth child of Jimmy & Marie Harris’ eight children. My daddy was a mailman. My momma was at home busy taking care of our family. My Aunt Bessie who was my daddy’s momma’s twin sister and her husband Uncle TJ lived with us too. My Aunt Bessie worked in the Volt of The First National Bank of Comers on Borne St in New Orleans. My Uncle TJ was an auto mechanic. He worked at Phillip 66 gas station around the corner from our house. They never had children of their own. So I guess you could say they were like a second pair of parents to us. We lived in Kenner Louisiana at 2028 Delaware Avenue all of my life growing up. Our family knew all of our neighbors and, when anybody new would move into our neighborhood. We all felt like it was our duty to welcome them into the neighborhood. Our elementary school was John Clancy Elementary. Our middle school was Kenner Junior High. My first two years of high school the girls went to Grace King High, it was an all-girls high school and the boys went to East Jefferson High, it was an all-boys high school. Then public school went Co-Ed. This meant we all went to High school together. Most of us started elementary school together. So everybody knew everybody. And when you didn’t know somebody you had a friend who knew them. In 1977 my momma died unexpectedly. Her death was caused from a brain aneurysm. Life changed. In 1979 I married Bobby Sullivan. Thought that marriage I became the mother of. Jake born in 1980, Josh born in 1981 and Baby Bob was our miracle son born in 1984. We divorced in 1994. Now I live in Mandeville La. I moved here in 1995 with my three sons. I still don't know how I was so brave to do that, but I sure am happy I did. In 1997 I fell in love with Kelly Watson. He moved in with me and my boys in the summer of 1997. We were married on July 1st 2000. Our marriage was blessed on September 2nd 2000. And on February 23rd 2011 Kelly and I became the proud parents of two sweet little girls. Kristen born in 2001 and Bridgett born in 2003. In the beginning of 2012 our sweet little boy Jonathan became a member of our family. I also have a bunch of wonderful grandchildren. Vanetta's daughter Ahna born in 1997 was our first grandchild. Jake has three step sons Tristan born in 1996, Trey born in 1998 & Trent born in 2007.
