About Me	Married at 19, and at 20 had my first child, Ashley, she is now 28 and a preschool teacher and returning to school this fall. She is single, beautiful with a beautiful heart and personality. At 22 I had a son, Mathew, he is 25, and has the magical life that most of us dream of. He lives in L.A. and does Visual Effects for the movies. He is good at what he does and there is nothing more exciting than seeing your child's name on the big screen!!!! From 1990 through to 2003 I worked in Banks. When I was 38 my life changed drastically, I moved to Vancouver, my 20 yr marriage ended, (however we still are friends which is wonderful for our children), I started working for CIBC credit counselling for student loans. I enjoyed the work to start with but after 2 years it was enough of that job. I was lucky enough to get a job at the Art Institute of Vancouver as a Student Financial Planner. I helped build the Student financial planning department and LOVED MY JOB. My son got his education at that school, which was such a blessing for our family, if not for that we could have never afforded his education. In May 2006 I got remarried to a wonderful man, who has been wonderful to me. But in Dec 2005 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I had been off work since Nov 12. Just before I was off work I had a staff review that showed me a future that I was going to be the supervisor of my own department at the school. I was a good employee, I had people working under me and I was at a highlight of a career. But I was not able to ever return to work to realize that vision and dream I had. So now I am on Long Term Disability, and it is not likely that I will return to work. My son has a wonderful girlfriend in L.A. and I got to go to Disneyland for the first time in my life this year, that was exciting, and what made it even more exciting was how thrilled my son was to be taking me.
