About Me	Married my AHS sweetheart, Eric Echols, Sr. sent our son back to play ball in his father's jersey numbers; having a live child is my greatest accomplishment (having lost our daughter the year prior)--giving birth to another human being and guiding them to the best of my abiilities. I also helped to raise two son's and a niece while living and raising a family in Arizona and Colorado. My sons are now 42, 39, and 30. My niece graduated as valedictorian of her college class. You can say that I've helped others which is my greatest talent from the Lord, the gift of helps.; Owned my own medical transcription service in Colorado; helped to start a church in Phoenix, AZ; Flight Attendant prior to Sept. 11, 2001; worked 13 years for Bell Telephone Co.; supported a husband 4 years as military wife (Eric Echols,Sr.) at Luke Air Force Base; served as Account Coordinator/Freelancer for several large fragrance companies including Calvin Klein, Halston, Gucci, Alfred Sung and Estee Lauder (Tommy Hilfilger), Oscar de la Renta, Paul Sebastian. I gave back to both parents by retiring my father from Alcoa Aluminum plant 3 yrs early and returning as promised to care and provide for my mother for 4 years. Helped to start-up our American Eagle counter in 1999. Served as passenger station agent/gate/ramp agent--yes, we did it all. Recently, at National Safe Skies Alliance, led our group of 18 company & family members with the guidance of our CEO & teacher Mrs. Faun Norton (AHS) through the Alzheimer's Walk 2008 held at Maryville College. Larry Ervin, our drum major of '72 is the Multicultural Music Director of 2007. Larry, Kathy Duggan and I all attend Sevier Heights Baptist on Alcoa Hwy. I challenge each of you to join in the fight against Alzheimer's which is very debilitating and ravaging through our small community. We (Jan Cook and I) would like to encourage all that respond, as alumni, to join in and let's start giving to the families of those who lose a loved one. We'd love to have our class of '72 (which I think was one of the bes classes) represented at the funeral of classmembers/family members.
