Gary passed away of cancer on May 2, 2024. He had two boys Shawn and Eric, spouse Judy Brown Maher. Gary was a long time friend and a generous person. From I met Gary while at Fortier. Many times we would all go over to his grandmothers in Gentilly area. We lived next door to each other in 1969 for the 1st year of our marriages. We always hung out with him. When we were all together in our 20's Gary, Judy and the boys would come over. He loved fire works on 4th July and New Years he would come over with a Schwegman's bag full of fire crackers, rockets etc. He would put the fire crackers on the fence across the street and light them up. We were always doing something crazy. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
