| About Me | Moved to FL in 1989 after my parents retired back to their hometown roots. My oldest daughter, Kristin, is an RN at Tampa General Hospital in the intensive care cardiology unit. She has one son, age 10. My youngest daughter, Ashley, is studying to be an Optician and should have her degree later this year. She has two children, a son... age 14 and a daughter... age 12. I have worked in the funeral industry (go figure with me being the class clown) as a Family Service Counselor for 11 years and with Hospice for 5 years previous to this. Looking into early retirement in March but thus far feel like I've still got too much energy to sit at home and knit afghans. So blessed to have both of my parents still with me. Dad will be 87 in July and Mom just turned 85 in November. My only sibling, a brother, is living a wonderful life in Denver where it's now legal to grow... yep... POT... and he's making a killin on it as he's growing and selling to the state of CO for medicinal purposes solely. All in all... life has been good.
