William Devon Tyler, 68, of Blenheim, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, February 18, 2018.
He was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on January 23, 1950, the son of Grace Tyler Morris and the late Charles W. Tyler. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Keith Tyler, Reginald Morris, Jr., Stephen Morris, and Charles Tyler, Jr. who died at 1 year old.
He received his formal education in the Albemarle County Public Schools and was a graduate of Albemarle High School. He was a heavy equipment operator and became a member of Wake Forest Baptist Church at an early age. Considered to a very good athlete, he could be often found playing football, baseball or softball depending on the season. He also had a strong devotion to family and friends.
In addition to his mother he leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Ingrid Barber; a brother, Terry V. Tyler; one granddaughter, Ashlon Barber; nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
