Dave served his nation as a U.S. Navy BT3 Engineer during the conflict in Vietnam, earning numerous decorations including a Bronze Star and National Defense Service Medal and Ribbon. He devoted thirty-five years to protecting his community as a law enforcement officer, eighteen years as a chief of Police. He trained and directed law enforcement officers his entire career. He passed from complications due to ALS . He will be surely missed.
