About Me	I attended Pittsburg State University and became the producer of the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. news at the local television station while a sophomore in college. I moved to Baton Rouge after receiving a job offer to become a television producer here. Two weeks before Hurricane Katrina struck Louisiana, I joined state government as the Press Secretary of the Department of Education.
