I distinguish myself through my experiences, achievements, and failures. I enlisted in the Marines after high school. After 4 years, I was honorably discharged. During those 4 years, I was meritoriously promoted twice and the honor graduate from air electronics and cryptographic school. After the Marines, I attended the University of Colorado earning a BA in Environmental Conservation. My grades earned me a full-paid teaching assistantship at the University of Denver, while I worked on my masters in cultural geography. I married and was blessed with 3 daughters. During my life, I was then divorced, remarried, and finally met Teri, a true blessing. I began my career in IT while working for EDS in their system engineering development program. After 2.5 years, I became a system engineer. Consulting and working directly with Visa, GM, Kodak, FedEx, Telia-Mobitel in Sweden, EDS, IBM, Citibank, SES, BCBS of Alabama and many more brought me back to graduate school. I earned my masters of information systems, finishing with a 4.0. From there, I began working on my doctorate. Current status, I completed all course work finishing with a 3.9 GPA. I am awaiting IRB approval of my dissertation proposal. At one point in my life, I was an ultra-runner, earning the big buckle running the Leadville 100, won the Mile High 100 when I was 45, and finally, every knee shall bow to change.
