I Retired as a Sargent First Class from the U.S. Army after serving 22 years. I served overseas with two tours in Vietnam, served on Okinawa for three years, and spent a total of six years in Korea. Stateside I took my basic training at Ft. Bliss, TX, my AIT at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland, I spent one year at Savanna Army Deport, Savanna, IL., one year at Ft. Dix, NJ, I was at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, IN as an Instructor at the Postal Training School on two different tours for a total of six years, and spent five years at the Joint Military Postal Activity located at JFK International Airport in New York City. I retired in 1989 from Korea where I was serving as the Postal Finance Officer for all of the Military Post Offices in Korea.

Our Akron Westfield High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
