Served with the141st CEF, Air National Guard at Fairchild AFB WA, 118 TAW, Tennssee Air National Guard Nashville TN, Air Force Reserve at Dover AFB, DE and retiring with the 129th Air Control Squadron, Air National Guard at Kennessaw GA.

Navy, 4 Years
Electrician's Mate First Class assigned to the
USS IOWA (1951-1955). Veteran of the Korean War. Honor Man of Company 012 at the Naval Training Station, San Diego, California. Graduated First in Class from Electrician's Mate Class A School at Great Lakes, Illinois. The youngest person to be promoted to First Class Petty Officer in the history of the United States Navy. Plank (founding) member of the Veterans Association of the USS IOWA, BB-61.
Retired as Professor of Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1997.

Served the first four years as an aircraft structural repair specialist (basically a sheet metal repair person) working on fighters. The last two years I was a computer programmer working on multi-service communications systems.

Myran L Dunker
Class of 1976
Air Force, 20+ Years
I served the USAF from 1980 through 2000. I started as a Security Police Drug Dog handler. I was stationed at Grissom AFB Indiana, and Crete Greece. I then crossed trained into the computer maintenance field and was stationed at Buckley ANG Base, where we maintained the missile warning computer equipment. Once I earned my degree and I was assigned as a Computer Maintenance Instructor at Peterson AFB Colorado Springs, We taught all the maintenance courses for the missile warning systems, locally and abroad.
