About Me	I was employed at the Ajo mine as a track repairman, later I was a senior heavy equipment operator, bulldozers, road graders, and the like. I was drafted (Dec 1969) for the Marine Corps, but I moved that to the US Army, and was able to get rapid promotion as an enlisted man, then I went to the Army Engineer Officer Candidate School at Fort Belvoir VA (July 1970 ), after the 26 week school, I was a 2nd LT. I was sent all over the United States to schools. Then the war in Vietnam slowed, I left active service Dec 1972. Back to Ajo and back to the dozers. I was married, had a little girl, divorced, 1975 went to ASU for 5 years. Got my degree. 182 was a bad job market, I got a job as a operations /plant manager building blueprinter machines. That work lasted in one form or other until July 2008. On the side I was in the Arizona Army Nationl Guard, I commanded a number of different units. That came to an end when Clinton "downsized" the military. I have been married for the last 30 years to the same gal. I live on 5 acres in New River, AZ. S...(read more)
