| About Me | I'm back in Denver after MANY years.....Spent ALOT of time in The South. (and if you know The South, you realize, YES, it DOES have to be capitalized;) I have THE best nephews and niece, Jhaeyden, Zachery and Lilly..... I love them dearly and with every single beat of my heart, I am glad they are MINE. I have the greatest job in the world and wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm LONG divorced but still believe in bone deep, soul searing true love. :) I love the mountains, the higher up the better. I love snow, winter is my favorite season, but since going to the beach a few times am coming to believe I may have been a sand dune in another life. There's not much that can beat a crystal clear sunny day, a steady breeze and a cold drink under an umbrella watching the waves come in. And falling asleep hearing the surf outside my window....wow. When I want to get my feet wet, (and my clothes, my brow, my hairline...) you can find me in New Orleans. My 2nd fave place in the world. :) I have family and a best friend in Tennessee, another in Florida and a good chunk of my heart still loves all day rainstorms, lightning bugs, honeysuckle and the sound of cicadas at sunset in the summer. I'm writing a book off and on......ok, more OFF than on.......and hope to be published someday and make a fine living writing forever. I am a HUGE music fan, the more off the beaten path, the better. I love going to live shows- some of my favorites include Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Jamestown Revival and Ryan Bingham.....among many others. Truly, if I could spend my time going from one concert to the next, I'd be happy. Of course, I'd have to drag my whole fam along with me as I'd miss them terribly... :) I hate chick flicks but am a hopeless romantic, hate hearing cuss words in public but have a bit of a potty mouth myself ;) and am utterly unashamed to say I've seen every episode of Scooby Doo, Bl...(read more) |
