| About Me | I graduated from Dartmouth College in 1993 with a BA in Russian Language and Literature. While in college, I spent a semester at Leningrad State University in 1991, shortly before it was renamed to St. Petersburg State University... After graduating, I moved to Madison WI to attend grad school at the University of WI. After getting a MA in Slavic Languages (and studying for a summer at Odessa Polytechnic University in Ukraine), I decided I didn't really want to be a professor (chalk dust makes my eyes go bonkers), and started working for Epic Systems in Madison. After working there for 17 years, I decided it was time for a change. In 2014, I moved to Baltimore, and now work for Philips Healthcare's Hospital to Home division. Since 1994 I've been involved with the Society for Creative Anachronism, a worldwide group interested in the study of the Middle Ages. Through the SCA, I met my wife, Toni.
