| About Me | I have lived in 12 states & 1 foreign country-- and moved 32 times. Finally got back home to Alaska. Now I live in a log cabin in the middle of nowhere (there are waaayyyy more moose & bear than folks in & out of the cemetery); and I get paid to give talks to Princess Cruise guests on how not to be attacked or killed by bear and moose, and what is/ is not poisonous to eat or touch. Additionally, I am serving a life sentence on the Community Council because I can't find a sucker to take my spot; and I co-emcee the local the Fireweed Festivals and the Cabin Fever Relievers, and still sing at funerals, weddings, and military events for the community. To get away from my hectic life, I take cruises to really cool places all over the world, and always include visits to their local bars/pubs/local watering holes to sample what is concocted nearby. Awhile back, I was nominated and elected by the community to be the 1st ever Outstanding Citizen, complete with handmade fur crown that I am never ever giving back. But while I am away from here, I instead refer to myself as the not-yet- appointed Ambassador of Alaska, since I end up spending a good bit of time away from Alaska- frequently talking and answering questions about Alaska.
