| About Me | Just love to watch every step my daughter, Laci, takes, even at 13. I am truly blessed to be where I am. I truly believe the Lord picked us up out of Del Rio and set us down in this paradise. We are on the Guadalupe River, great schools, friends, and able to look out at the horses running. Laci is TOTALLY AMAZING with school, basketball, volleyball, track, softball, and of course shopping! She received her athletic abilities from her Dad, and her shopping from me. She is awesome. My life is now filled with taking Laci everywhere and making it to all her practices and games. She even taught me how to swim. My life is empty without my Mom and Dad. I miss them both so much. I was a very lucky person to have the parents I did, and I am forever grateful. I lost my Mom March 11, 2011. It feels as though I have lost my child as she had Alzheimer’s. The worst disease I think there is. She did not remember who I was, but I never forgot who she was. I will always be grateful to Benny and Laci for the sacrifices they made in order for her to be with us off and on since losing Daddy in 1988, and especially these last couple years being blessed to have her with us all the time. I left behind in Del Rio a lot of stress, lots of hours of work and unfortunately, many friends and my kids (employees). I closed my construction company, laid off over 60 employees (friends) and sold almost all our equipment (lots of yellow iron). I still have my office building; we converted to a charter school. They are the best renters I could have asked for. We left behind a river house that will probably never be completed. Could sit on the big porch and throw your fishing line into the Rio Grande River.
