Claire and I lived in the Black Forest and shared a school bus from elementary school though high school. Our bus was filled with wonderful people. We had interesting conversations on our trips back and forth to school. I remember like it was yesterday, when Claire brought her Beatles Sargent Pepper album to school and shared all of the conspiracy theories about Paul and overall on the music.
I remember Claire as thoughtful and kind and always able to share in good conversation. I am sorry for her loss and send the family my best wishes. Dan Roth

Claire’s passing, while unexpected, was difficult for her surviving brothers and families as well as abundant friends. Her husband of 25 years, Chris, lost the love of his life and his best friend. Her passing has been very difficult for many and for Chris, exceptionally so.
Claire loved her life with Chris. They traveled the world and lived in the home they purchased in Avon decades ago. They were inseparable.
Claire and Chris shared a love of horses. She was blessed with a wonderful quarter horse, Kiowa, in high school and, with Chris, spent her life enjoying a life that included horses.
Her brothers, Tom and Pete survive her death. Brother Tim, the brother closest to Claire, passed in 2004. Claire continued to follow her Catholic faith throughout her life.
We miss her. Everyday. And always will.
