Trent H. Ortiz
Class of 1976
Trent Ortiz was a 3 sport letterman in football, track and basketball. He still holds a basketball record for best free throw percentage for a season (this has stood for over 33 years) Trent went on to play basketball on scholarships to Colo Northwestern and Metro State College where he earned a BS and MBA in business. Trent then went on to play semi pro football for the Colo Spgs Flames...Trent exemplifies an outstanding AAHS athlete and good role model for young adults and troubled teens and he works feverishly to better his community and the kids he teaches and mentors. Trent is an environmental sales rep for BioLynceus and a part time teacher for Springboard Afterschool programs. Trent has an 8 year old daughter that he hopes will one day go to AAHS too.
