Larry Wayne Brokofsky (75), passed away June 10, 2021, from the effects of Agent Orange.
Larry was born and raised in Ainsworth, NE, to Melvin and Pearl Brokofsky, on December 4, 1945.

He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968, with his service being in the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the military, he went on to work for the FBI in Washington DC. While employed with the FBI, he met the love of his life, Linda. Soon after, he was transferred to Omaha, NE, where they married in 1969. From that union, 2 children were born, David and Teri. Larry remained with the FBI for 34 years before retiring from the Bureau in 2002.

Larry loved collecting political memorabilia, metal detecting, hunting and fishing and was very well known for his humor and wit.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Pearl Brokofsky, and son, David Brokofsky.

He is survived by wife, Linda; daughter, Teri (Gene) Gray; grandchildren, Michael Gray, Brandon Gray, Natalie Ayn-Gray, and Malissa Gray, all of Lincoln, NE; 5 great-grandchildren, all of Lincoln, NE; and brother, Rick (Ellen) Brokofsky, of Papillion, NE.

A Graveside Service, with full Military Honors, will be held Friday, June 18, 2021, 10:00am, at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. Please meet at Gate 2 of the cemetery 15 minutes prior to the service, for a procession back to the gravesite.
