The Weekend of September 17 - 19, 2021
Friday, September 17, 2021, from 6pm to 10pm:
A gathering at The Terrace Room & Patio at the Palm Garden Hotel in Thousand Oaks. This was a great "kick-off" for the weekend in 2019, and we are going back for more. Have your dinner before arriving! No host bar.
Saturday, September 18th, MAIN EVENT: Reunion Banquet at La Paz!
4pm the reunion main event begins (Possibly preceded by a visit to Las Virgenes School, now known as A.E.Wright Middle School).
This is our beloved local Mexican restaurant featuring seafood and we will be in their two-story open-roof courtyard. Appetizers preceed the buffet, Cheese Quesadillas and Shrimp Ceviche.
The Buffet includes a Salad Bar and these main entrees:
Chicken Fajitas, Carnitas, Cheese Enchiladas, Black or Pinto Beans, Rice and Flour and Corn Tortillas.
Vegetarian dishes will be prepared specially for those who request it.
Coffee, Tea and Sodas are included, and it is a No Host Bar for spirited beverages.
Sun. September 19, 2021: Daytime Picnic and More
Traditional 11am BYO Picnic at Chumash Park, just past Agoura High School on Driver Avenue followed by a walk to the campus for a nostalgic visit.

Good Nite Inn Calabasas ("Malibu"): The most affordable hotel is off Las Virgenes Road nearly walking distance from La Paz Restaurant where we are having our Saturday main event. "Agoura High +50- Year Reunion" is the name of our discount even though it is the same as "Senior" (Who's a senior?) or a AAA discount. Call 818-880-6000 for reservations. It is located at 26557 Agoura Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. (There is not a Good Nite Inn in Malibu "proper".)
