Our 40th high school reunion is this year! Please make plans to attend. Our Save The date announcements will soon be in the mail (if you have not yet received one) explaining how to register etc.
The reunion will be at the site of the old Heege School, at the Affton Elks Lodge, from 7-11 pm on the 26th of July. Our food fare will include veggie and cheese trays, chicken spedini skewers, chicken wings, toasted ravioli and a garden salad, catered by Cafe Affton. There will be a cash bar.
In addition, Debbie (Ripper) Barnes has made arrangements at the Holiday Inn South (Butler Hill Road) to accommodate any out of town guests that would need a room. That Friday we figure to be a travel-in date, so we will have a very casual gathering at the bar area of the hotel.There is an open atrium that we will be able to acces through the evening for gathering.
The Sunday following the reunion, Cafe Affton (formerly Pariani restaurant on Gravois, across from the old Crest Theater on Gravois) will open for a private brunch EXCLUSIVELY for our class. He opens for business at 11:00 but the place is ours until then. First come, first serve. Please drop me an e-mail if you would like to be added to our list of interested parties.
