About	At the time of his death John, as we knew him, was employed as a music teacher at Valente Music in Marlborough and worked previously at several area retail stores including Monnick Supply in Marlborough. Music was his life – he formed three bands, Shagbark Hickory, Pendulum & Company and most recently the Accidentals. His bands played dozens of venues including the Acton Jazz Café. He was a “glass half full” kind of man, generous to strangers and always willing to lend an ear. He leaves two sons, Ryan S. Howard and Corey D. Howard, both of Hudson
