About	Linda Hansen Buehner died February 19, 1990 from a long struggle with breast cancer. She left a thirteen year old daughter, Vanessa Jane Buehner who then moved from Acton to Pittsburgh after her mother's death. Linda was married in 1973 and became a single Mom in 1978. She and her daughter lived in West Acton until 1990. Linda was dear and treasured close friends with Valerie Bedford Warren since the age of 6. Valerie remains close friends with Linda's daughter Vanessa and Linda's older sister Joan. Linda was a beautiful and loving loyal friend and hard worker. She worked at Emerson Hospital for many years. Linda's siblings are Joan, AB Class of 1962 and twin brothers Bob and Charlie AB Class of 1963. At age 3 Vanessa attended the Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham. She went on to High School and Technical School in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Joan will be staying with Vanessa for a month this summer while Vanessa adjusts life with a beautiful service dog. Both Valerie and her mother, Ardelle Bedford welcome visits with Joan and Vanessa quite often.
