Sea duty in Atlantic,Pacific,Indian,and Arctic Oceans including the Mediterranean Sea and rounding Cape Horn.I first went to sea as a midshipman aboard the battleship New Jersey and subsequently served on the carrier Essex, a destroyer and various amphibious warfare ships.Shore duty was staff duty in planning and in operational training.My awards include Vietnam Service Medal with ten stars,Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V and Gold Star,Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal {Quemoy and Matsu},Cross of Gallantry,Viet Nam Campaign Medal, Republic of the Philippines Presidential Unit Citation.In 2001 I was included in Who's Who in America and in 2002 in Who's Who in the World.

served almost 4 years in Mayport Florida aboard the USS Forrestal, almost 2 1/2 years in Treasure Island, California aboard the USS Excel, almost 2 years in Alameda, California aboard the USS Kansas City, only 5 months at HM-15 as I ended up going on limited duty for 6 months at SIMA San Francisco after back surgery. After being cleared for full duty, got new orders to San Diego aboard the USS McKee for a little over 2 years.
