About	Obituary David Russell Forrest, of Collegeville, PA, passed away after a courageous battle with brain cancer, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 14, 2023. He was born on May 20th, 1955 son of the late Carolyn and William Forrest. David was a true family man who loved nothing more than spending time with his children and their families. He was an avid golfer and basketball enthusiast, but would love to watch any sporting event. He was a great friend to so many and left a legacy that will live on for generations. David is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lin Forrest and his three children; Kirsten Francis (Kevin), Zachary Forrest (Christa) and Matthew Forrest (Alexandria); and four beautiful granddaughters with another one on the way; an all-girl starting 5 that “Pops” could have only dreamed of (Reese, Brooke, Mackenzie, Sophia & Baby Girl Forrest Aug 2023). He is also survived by his brother Paul and niece Julia Forrest. David will also be missed by many close friends and coworkers who have become family. He spent the majority of his career working in the Commercial Real Estate industry for GMH Capital Partners. A visitation will be held at the Volpe Funeral Home on Tuesday June 20th 5:30pm-8:30pm, 707 W Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton PA. A memorial mass will be held at Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Rd., Abington PA at 11:00 am on Wednesday June 21st; a short visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 10:00-10:45am.
