Bobby Bryant was a special person. In Junior High he starred on undefeated football and track teams. In High school he was asked to forego football to concentrate on indoor and outdoor track. In our junior and senior year, the track team was undefeated and won two back-to-back state titles. Bobby was the Pennsylvania state champion in the 440 yard sprint and anchored the record setting mile relay team. He also helped set a record at the Penn Relays, along with wins in the Inquirer Games and the Meet of Champions. He held many records. Whenever he ran at track meets, everyone stopped and watched in awe. He was so gifted. Bobby always had an infectious smile. He was so easygoing and constantly joked around. I will miss Bobby Bryant. Run like the wind Bobby.
