About Me	I married Don Pollock, Class of 1957, on Aug. 14, 1959. We will celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary next month. I worked as a Secretary at Jane Long Elem. School in Abilene from 1959 until Dec. 1960. Our first son was born, Feb, 20, 1961 and our second on April 17, 1963. I was a wife and mother from 1960 to 1965, when I returned to work because my husband was going to Court Reporting School. Believe it or not, I was the school secretary at Franklin Elem, formally, North Jr. and Billy Earles was the principal in 1965 and then went to Abilene State School as secretary in the Volunteer Department. In 1968, my husband finished court reporting school and we moved to San Antonio, TX. In 1969, I went to work for Prudential Insurance and continued there until I took an early retirement package in Dec.1994. I continued to work for Prudential Agents until April 2003 when I retired fully. We are extremely proud of our two sons. They both went to Texas A&M, were in the Aggie Band and were both Captain of the Burgle Rank their senior year. Both went into the Air Force as 2nd Lt. Our oldest son, Kevin, retired as a Lt. Col, with nearly 25 years of service in Sept. 2007 and moved back to Texas at Cedar Creek Lake. Our youngest, Randy, got out as a Captain and is living and working in San Antonio. Kevin has 3 boys ages 24, 22 and 19. Randy has a son, 21 and a daughter 19. All but one are still in college. In 1991, Don and I sold our home in San Antonio and moved to Lake Mc Queeney, but continued to commute to San Antonio until he retired in 2001 and then I retired in 2003.
