| About Me | ,"Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright". I have learned that these words written by Bob Marley are who I am learning to become. If you asked a question of who I was a few years ago I would have had no idea! I was falling into an abyss of darkness. I guess you could say most of the time I was in a state of walking death. I was asleep when I was awake and when I was awake I lived in a state of terrifying fear and worry! However in the last year by the grace of God my life has turned around and I am completely opposite of who I was in the last nine years. After spending a year changing my environment my aquantinces and my area code, I am finding out who I am purposed to be. After spending a year with pretty much me, myself and I, I have experiencend an awakening! I have learned that the one true key to life is finding the beauty and purpose in each day, and by all means letting no one steal my joy at any moment of the day! I have learned that the key to reaching my purpose comes with the ability to stay grounded and centered, and focused. This has become who I am, and I have found that this has led me to so much favor in my life. There are no more worries, because by striving to move towards a higher purpose, and believing that God has even greater plans for me has brought me to this ultimate peace in my life. Who am I? I am someone who keeps my eyes open to everyone and everything in my surroundings. I have learned that letting go of all negativity in my life is a true art form that can only be practiced with complete heart and honesty to myself. I am someone who has had to let go of many of the people who I love dearly, and who although try to love me cannot have the best interest of themselves and me, because they cannot yet love themselves. I am someone who prays continuously for a solution to the disease called addiction that does not discriminate by any means. I am someone who has experienced near death, and who was told by teams of professionals that there was no hope for me. I am someone who has so for beat my own odds. I am living life to its full potential each day. I am the person who only a few years ago lived in fear and anguish, and now I live by the motto of Bob. I am a living walking miracle celebrating the gift of life each day, and striving to help others to find their way out of the abyss of addiction and to live at peace with themselves, and know they are a gift not a cur...(read more) |
