While in the Army, I took basic training at Fort Polk, Louisiana. I then travel to Fort Lee,Virginia for quartermaster schooling and small arms repair. I went overseas and visited Korea for one year of duty. My duties in Korea was a motor pool sergeant and a requisition clerk. In Korea I was stationed at the capital city Soul, Korea. I visited many places such as Enchon, Pusan, one of the most southern cities in Korea. I also traveled North to the DMZ line between North and South Korea. I also did a three-day tour down south of the country. I really enjoyed my tour of Korea. When I left Korea I was transferred to United States Air Force base in Fort Rucker Alabama. I was A requisition clerk for the rest of my tour. I then left the Army and went into the reserves for two years.
