About Me	I've been a professional fire fighter for 27 years. For a few years I was part owner in an Illinois Editorial Cartoon Service that at one time had 88 newspaper clients in Iowa and Illinois. When my partner, the brains of the outfit, broke his neck, things went to heck and I returned to the fire department. Two years ago my daughter and I took off across America on The Search For Sanity Tour. We ended up on the coast of Washington State in Kurt Cobain's hometown. We visited all of Kurt's homes and the bridge he and friends used to camp under. We met several of his high school buddys and they were all burn-outs. My daughter learned a valuable lesson and now admires the music and not the man. I've been a single parent for eight years and it's been the greatest experience of my life. (Sorry, Kevin!)
