James Joyce I find myself torn between wanting to become ONE with it all and struggling to remain distinct. I love the human race but am bored to death by at least half the population. I'm more interested in science and philosophy than reality TV housewives and Nascar -- music and art with heart rather than vapid, manufactured-for-the-masses pop and films. I'll talk politics and religion with anyone with an interesting, intelligent opinion on the subjects -- which, unfortunately, is not very often. I hate infomercials and think it's a crime cable companies stuff their channel "selections" with so many of them. I think High Fructose Corn Syrup encapsulates everything wrong between people and corporations, but there's not room enough here to explain why.
