| About Me | I was born September 6, 1952 in Valley City, North Dakota to Leo and Lois Pfaff. My grandparents were Carl and Clara Pfaff of Valley City, North Dakota and Neff and Grace Humbert of Cheney, Washington. Before I turned 1 year old, my family moved to Pasco, Washington. Again after about a year we moved to Spokane, Washington. After about 2 years there, again we moved, this time to Yakima, Washington. My parents devorced in 1960. My brother and I were raised by my mother in a modest little house on 4th avenue south of Nob Hill. I attended Hoover Grade School, Washington Junior High School, and A.C. Davis Senior High School. I spent 6 years in the U.S. Army Reserves with the 737th Transportion Unit stationed at the Yakima Firing Center. 1974 was a big year for me, I got married; my mother died; I started attending Yakima Valley College. In 1976, after graduating from Yakima Valley College, I went to work for Yakima County. In 1978 I went to work for the State of Washington, and my wife and I moved to Tumwater, Washington.
