Served as an airborne infantryman in Fort Polk, LA. A RANGER school graduate, deployed to Iraq where I received Army Commendation Medals for various missions in war as well as a receipient of the Purple Heart Medal.

Jeffrey LeMieux

Navy, 6 Years
Served in the US Navy from Aug. 28 95(date I left for boot at RTC Great Lakes IL)till my discharge. June 21 2001. Served aboard the Guided Missile Cruiser,USS Shiloh CG 67,as a SN in Deck Div,from Feb 96 Aug 2000, San Diego CA.Was injured in a fall from 35-40 ft up. Spent another 10 months recovering from a fractured back, at NAVSTA San Diego, till my discharge in June 2001. Did two 6 month deployments to the Persian Gulf. First one was with the Carl Vinson CBG in 96. Where we launched missiles in Op Desert Strike, Sept 3 1996. Went on another 6 month deployment in 98, with the Abraham Lincoln CBG. Where we also launched missiles, in Op Desert Fox. Earned numerous awards, and one citation. Me in the peacoat in the lower right of pic. On the fwd VLS of the Shiloh, with some of Deck Div. May of 96.

I am currently serving as a Company Commander in Louisiana. I served in Korea, Texas, and Louisiana as well as served some time in Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I currently hold a BA from the University of Washington, an MA from Webster University, and hold several certifications as a result of my service in the Army. I have worked in leadership and staff positions and received several awards and decorations.

Scott Fleek has served in the Air Force since 1989. After his initial four years of active duty, Scott joined the Air Force Reserve and is currently serving out of McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, WA. Scott is a Technical Seargent specializing in explosive ordnace disposal.

Our Woodinville High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Woodinville High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
